Behind The Sunny Skillet:

Meeting their freshman year of college, The Sunny Skillet is comprised of three twenty-something women who are in very different stages of life. What brings them together? Their love for each other and their love for cooking.


About Meagan:Meagan

Meagan is a 26-year-old Nurse living in Huntsville, Alabama. Wife to Daniel and mother to 1-year old Harper, Meagan lives for an afternoon at the pool with her family or an impromptu trip to the beach. Need a bandaid? Chapstick? Snack? Just ask Meagan. It’s in her bag!


Favorite Ingredients: Garlic, Pineapple, and Olive Oil.
Favorite Kitchen Tools: Chef’s Knife, Baker’s Rolling Pin, and Stand Mixer.
Favorite Cookbooks: Mastering the Art of French Cooking by Julia Child and Essentials of Baking by Williams Sonoma.


RachaelAbout Rachael:

RachaelĀ  is a 25-year-old Marine Biology Graduate Student living in Juneau, Alaska. She spends her weekends kayaking, exploring caves, and climbing mountains. Need to know a random fact about a plant or animal? Ask Rachael. She’s an encyclopedia.


Favorite Ingredients: Chipotles, Lime Juice, and Bacon.
Favorite Kitchen Tools: Wok, Dutch Oven, and Chef’s Knife.

Amanda is a 26-year-old Marketing Producer living in Atlanta, GA. When she’s not at work, you’ll find her at bar trivia, treasure hunting at an antique shop, or sampling beer at a local brewery. She’s easy to spot: she’s the one wearing something sparkly, petting a stranger’s dog.


Favorite Ingredients: Cream Cheese, Balsamic Vinegar, and Cilantro
Favorite Kitchen Tools: Swiss Chop, Garlic Zoom, and an Oversized Wooden Cutting Board.
